Activities

All Garden of Eden activities are primarily aimed at procuring pleasure, and at the psychomotor, cognitive and affective development of the child and are adapted to each child’s own phase of development.

Games are highly important in the life of a child. Also, our child care nurses organise activities adapted to each age group which allows for smooth transition learning, the well-being of the child, and a setting for socialisation as they prepare for pre-school.

Activities at the Child Care Centre:

This weekly activity allows the children to discover music in a playful way, including different instruments, that may at times look as strange as funny. Songs and tunes, dancing and singing in circles, nursery rhymes and the discovery of musical and percussion instruments are all part of the programme among countless other things to discover in the world of music and sounds including the game of ‘Musical Chairs’.

Healthy body, Healthy mind! Our Yogist will slowly introduce the children to ‘Baby yoga’ and to relaxation. (Adword key word baby yoga)

Our children go to the theatre
As soon as the curtain opens, the puppets interact with the little spectators, thus establishing a close contact between the public and the puppet. Children become involve from the outset in the action, the plot unwinds most times as a result of their participation.
Our young spectators are encouraged to freely express themselves by,
laughing or to express their angriness at the behaviour of such or such a character.

All of the senses are focused on! See, Hear, Touch, Smell and Taste. Our children discover materials, colours, sounds, tastes and the scents of nature.

Little fingers know how to do more things than we imagine!
Stringing, clipping, closing, opening, zipping, scratching, pouring…

Toddlers love food and love to make cupcakes, biscuits, fruit salads and other delicacies.

The children can express themselves by drawing, painting, collages, with play dough and thousands of materials and colours that fascinate them!

We combine colourful pompons, images, shapes and create puzzles and many others…

A story is read to the children every day.
Apart from books, the children expand their vocabulary through the word box. What is the word box? Images of the seasons, of festivities, objects, shapes and colours to improve our toddler’s vocabulary.

Our large garden is designed to host our toddlers whenever the weather allows it.
In spring the older children are fascinated when they see how what they planted in the garden area has grown.
In summer, we take out the sunshades, the games, tables and we spend the entire day in the open fresh air and in a lush setting!

On festive occasions (St-Nicolas, Xmas, Mother and Father’s days)
we organise activities according to the occasion. For Carnival and Halloween, our toddlers come already disguised or we can put makeup on them.

Our photographer will immortalise our little treasures during a shooting photo session.

Photos of our activities and the magic moments captured at the centre can be viewed and downloaded by the parents from our web site from their personal access platform or application!
